🌟 Role overview:
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Lead Product Designer to shape the future of our products and customer journeys across the Staysure Group. You’ll lead end-to-end design for a defined product area, turning complex problems into elegant, user-centred solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, Compliance, and Operations - ensuring design decisions are aligned with business goals, customer needs, and commercial realities such as revenue, retention, and efficiency.
As a leader, you’ll coach and mentor other designers, raise standards across the team, and champion best practice in research, prototyping, and service design. You’ll also lead the evolution of our design system, driving adoption across teams and ensuring consistency and quality. You’ll embed AI across workflows, identifying where it can enhance research, prototyping, or decision-making, integrating AI tools effectively, and guiding the team to use them responsibly.
🌟Experience Required:
Proven end-to-end product design leadership and 6+ years’ experience in digital product design.
Strong Figma and prototyping skills, with the ability to set and maintain design quality standards.
Experience leading research, usability testing, and turning insights into strategic design direction.
Commercial awareness and experience balancing user needs with business goals.
Skilled in service-level thinking, journey mapping, and designing for complex or regulated domains.
Ability to coach and develop designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience running workshops, A/B testing, contributing to product strategy, and integrating AI into design workflows.
